I have submitted several requests to onrebates.com for legitimate rebates from purchases from Tigerdirect.com.interestingly, only rebates of $5 or less have been honored. All others were denied. The reason. I did not sign the form. There is no indication on the form that you have to sign. As I noted, only large rebates were denied.
I have copies of my rebate forms. I never saw any instruction to sign the form. However, this is the reason that was stated that my rebates were denied. Actually, I was never informed that my rebates were denied. O found out when I puchased something from Tigerdirect this month, that had a $50 rebate. Frankly, I tried 5 times to enter the rebate form information and it would never accept my PO# - another interesting problem.
I suspect I will never get my $50 rebate. I have purchase a lot of things from TigerDirect - but I have decided that they too must be aware of the unethical nature of how Onrebates.com operates. I will not make another purchase from Tigerdirect.com.
