Have you bought anything from Tiger Direct. They gave my credit card information to a third party called US PHONE, also in California. Cancelled their free service for 30 days before the automatic billing starts. A few days later Amr Long Distance billed by card for service. Also the same day I bought a program over the internet from a company called Emetrix.

If so this could be the connection.
Cancel your card for a new numbers and dispute the charges as soon as possible.
