Recently I purchased the above mentioned computer through the ebay auction referenced above.
Upon receiving the computer, I noted that the Hard Drive was neither Partitioned nor Formatted. After completing these tasks myself, I encountered NUMEROUS problems installing windows 98, windows 2000 and windows Xp.
Also, while unpacking the other items, I noticed that the quality of other parts in the package were extremely LOW. The mouse, keyboard and speakers are substandard and inferior products.
After contacting your tech support line, It became apparent the Computer had been shipped with a defective memory module.in ordering a replacement, I was CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $68.00 Dollars for sending replacement parts, which are due back to me when I return the defective part.
The fact that the HD was not partitioned nor Formated, and that the system was shipped with BAD RAM proves your tech's never tested, or for that matter even turned on the machine to check it, before shipping it to me.
As of this date (04/27/02), I am still awaiting the new part (s).
Meanwhile, I cannot use the computer for my business and it is costing me resources to work around it while waiting for the parts.
On 4/25/02, I posted a NEGATIVE feedback on your ebay account regarding my purchase, stating ONLY FACTUAL ISSUES regarding the computer and subsequent issues regarding the defective memory.
Even though I have nothing to do with the fact I was shipped a substandard product, you have decided to retaliate with malicious, false negative comments of your own.
I will not stand for this. I am considering taking legal action.
If you don't write a retraction to the negative feedback you filed, I will notify my Lawyer by next week regarding the computer.
