On February 14 I attempted to purchase a game online at gamebuyersclub.com. After ordering and reviewing my receipt I realized that a &1.00 charge had been included on my order outside of shipping costs and the cost of the game. It was a temporary membership fee. I proceeded to view the policy and was notified that I had 10 days to deactivate membership or a yearly fee would be automatically deducted from my credit card.
On February 15 I went to the "contact us" part of the website and was given an e-mail option. I chose the subtitle "Deactivate Membership" option and gave a brief explaination and request for my membership to be cancelled and my order to be cancelled as well. I received an automated response stating I would be contacted within 48 hours but, no later than 5 business days. I did not receive a response in that span so I sent out a pair more e-mails and realized that e-mail was the only way to contact this company, no phone nuber, no address. Finally, I received a response on March 7 stating the following:
Dear Eric,
We will be happy to cancel this order today. Your card has not been charged as we will only charge you when an item has been shipped.
Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

I replied back stating that I also wished to have my membership cancelled.
I was informed by my bank that a charge for &19.99 had been charged to my card by gamebuyerclub.com for a 1-year membership. I have sent several e-mails since this notification requesting my card be credited and again my membership cancelled. They are not responding back to me and that is where I am right now. Please help me. I feel cheated and "taken" and ripped-off. Thank you in advance, Eric B. Denny
