I had chosen to discontinue my service with Net Zero and called customer service to do so June, 9 2005.
I completed the transaction with the representive and was given a confirmation number (023189374).
Two months later, after reviewing bank statements, I discovered Net Zero resumed deducting the monthly service fee from my bank account.
On Sept. 22 I called Net Zero customer service to inquire about the obvious "mistake".
The customer service rep. (Fred) asked for the confimation number relating to my cancelation. I did so and he informed me that the number I gave him was not in his files.
After assuring him that I called to cancel with a date and even the time of day, he quoted a note in my file saying that I had called on the said date to cancel and that I was offered two months of free service to stay on as a Net Zero customer which is a false statement
