I purchased the "Incredimail Bundle" for about 50.00 about 4 or 5 years ago. I really liked the free version, and when you buy the program, you get all these extras, (like the gallery of cute things) and it removed all the ad's.
A year or so later they decided to move most of the cute things to what they called the "gold gallery" And then said we would now have to pay for that service. When I complained, they offered a discount.
Recently they sent a notice to "upgrade" and I did just that, since the program I purchased included all upgrades.
It was ANY THING but a upgrade, It removed the junk e-mail part of the program. And then offered to give it back to me for 40.00 a YEAR. As far as I can tell, there was no upgrade, just another way to get more money.
They have fixed it so you can't get the old version back.
I wrote several e-mail, only response is to thank me for writing and offer me 10% off the Junk program they are now trying to sell us.
I am so upset with these people. I paid in good faith, and let the "gold gallery" thing go. I guess we should of raised cane then. Last night I removed the program from my computer. I will not pay them another dime. And you talk about FREE advertising. Believe me, I will give them plenty.
