I ordered a barebone system from Tiger Direct, as I have done many times in the past. One of the biggest selling points were the rebates attached to the purchase. I dutifully filled out all the required forms, stuck the apporopriate labels, and affixed the appropriate bar code labels, as I always do.
The one thing that changed was that I changed residences right before I sent the rebates in. (relationship breakup) The next thing I know, I get an email from onrebate saying that the rebates were denied because the rebate information did not match the invoice.
As long as the product information matched the rebate, Why in GOD's name would it make a difference to them where I live, except to use it as an excuse to keep my money, and pat themselves on the back for a "job well done." Especiialy seeing as this was not my first experience, but under the circumstances, just may be my last.
