I recently attempted to use the online shopping company Boscovs which is an internet "bargain source" similar to overstock.com

My first red flag was during the registration process associated with my purchase "check-out" which did not seem to process information correctly.

Several days after purchase I was notified that my order was "packed and awaiting UPS pick-up" in spite of the fact that Boscovs had attached my billing address rather than my shipping address. This is important to note because my billing e-mail is a P.O. Box which does not accept UPS shipments (as stated by Boscovs own shipping policy).

I attempted to contact Boscov's twice through their customer support e-mail to correct this problem. Both times I received automated e-mails confirming that my messages had been delivered. Unfortunately I never heard back from Customer Service.

Today I received two e-mails informing me that 90% of the items in my order were out of inventory and would not be shipped. Why I received this information several days after I was told the order was "packed and ready to ship" suggests a generally dishonest and disreputable approach to online business practices.

To reiterate, Boscovs provides an inferior purchase environment, no customer service... And in my case no merchandise.
