Took $1050 check for key words and didn't deliver the service. Ignored all requests for action. Ripoff

This dispute is regarding a company that I had a cash advance check issued to.

The company name is Key Windows. This company provides a service that allows businesses to purchase key words along with the software set up they provide so that people searching under those key words online land on your web page.

I purchased two key words: They are Logo Design and Company Logo for the amount of $1050.00

I was told they couldn't take credit cards but I could transfer money to their PayPal account. I informed them I didn't have the kind of cash readily available. They suggested cash advance checks so I put in a call on my Credit card. They credit card company issued a check and mailed it.

Sheryl Paquette, the representative from the company who sold me the key words kept calling wanting to know where the check was. Since it was issued over the Easter break and traveled from the East to West coast it took some time to arrive. Once they did receive the check they called to let me know they got it. I was informed it would take a couple days to process the check and that once it went through I would be called by their customer service rep who would tell me how to set up the keywords system they used.

I was never contacted again. I have made several email inquiries and phone inquiries both to the sales rep and the person in the business department. The phone calls landed me in the customer service department and I could only get voice mail.

Then, a friend of mine went to bat for me and called their number. She did get a hold of someone in the customer service who assured her that it was just a mix up in paper work. They misfiled something. They promised they would contact me that afternoon. I was never contacted.

At this point I just want a refund. I don't trust them and think they are probably running a scam either that or they are so incompetent they shouldn't be in business.

I put I filed a despute claim with my credit card company who is checking into this. I just want to get my money back.
