Ripoff, fraudulent billing, after senior acct. Gave cancel confirmation number twice, after fault one year contract, cancelled credit card, still they kept acct. Open & trying to charge cancelled card

I had earthlink dsl for 3yrs and they started to harass my acct. The last 6 months because I had a set up my own network without paying them that stupid extra $10.00/mth. The phone co., electric co., gas co., cable co. All bring one line into people's residents without any limits on the number of connects, but not earthlink. The next thing I did was ask for a one year discount conrtact and was told I didn't qualify. So I said fine even if I do qualify later I do not want it. I checked my bill 2 days later and they fraudulently signed me up after I denied it since I did not qualify. I then called 4 times getting cancellation confirmation numbers with no luck. The last 2 times talking with senior account managers confirming both the cancellation of the $150.00 fee and closure of my account with of course a confirmation number! I cancelled the credit card on that account. I checked my earthlink acct. And found it is still open after 3 weeks.
