Fraudulent, dishonest billing ripoff

My mother received a bill from Callwave for the month of March, informing her that she was being charged for usage of Callwave online answering machine services for the months of October, and November. This is quite strange since noone who has access to her computer has ever heard of Callwave, or heard of online answering services such as Callwave. It is also strange that she is just now (March) being billed for so called "usage" that occured last October and November!

My mother has never received a bill from Callwave before this one. The wordage on the bill threatened that if the bill was not paid, then "further action would be taken".in my experience, never have I purchased any service or product online that did not require that I enter my bank/debit information ONLINE before entering into agreement, and never have I dealt with companies on the internet that did not receive the money owed them directly from my bank account, using my bank information.

Because of the manner in which Callwave is billing my mother, it gives reasonable doubt that they have her bank information and that they have any authorization whatsoever to charge her for any service. However, somehow Callwave has access to my mother's name and home address. Very interesting. Wonder where they got their information.
