Numerous Employees ripoff north carolina

Purchased pc bundle on 2/2/05.. Had problems with it since 2/4/05.. Contacted store in person on 2/8/05. Tried to deal with faulty product hoping it would stop malfunctioning. Talked to them again on 2/25/05 wanted a refund. Mr. Willie Pierce said no unless i pay a recycling/restocking fee. I said no way will i pay you for something that does not work. Both the manager and assitant manager were and are on vacation supposedly.

Willie gave me a number to call, to speak with them about waiving their supposed fee. I called them, 1-800-251-2665, spoke to Judy first, asked for a supervisor, was placed on hold for 10 minutes, hung up on. Called back spoke to? Was told that they only had one supervisor and he was in meeting, i said why wasen't i told that before i was on hold. No answer. Then i asked for anyone that could help me, told no one. I said i will speak to somebody, finally he said i'll place you on hold for someone that may be able to help you, on hold for 10 minutes, hung up on again. Called back spoke to Kevin, i was upset at this point, wanted a super and told him what was going on and he hung up on me.

Talked to Allen from the rocky mount store, who treated me well, but couldn't help. Then i talked to Willie again, told him what happened with the number he gave me, no apology was offered, and he kept saying i had to pay the fee, i kept saying no. And who do i need to talk to. He said the manager but she and her assitant manager were both on vacation. I said well, can i wait for them but then will it be to long to get any relief from this problem as far as a time limit? He said no. I said what if i had brought the pc back two days after i purchased it when it started messing up, he said i would have still had to be a fee. I said, what? I said i was not told about this or i would have never purchased the pc, he said by law we don't have to tell you, its on the back of the reciept...

Well guess what when you get the reciept its already payed for and you are stuck with the "fee", its too late by then for customers. On 2/26/05 called 800 number back, got a supervisor named Paul Jones. He told me he would call Willie and come up with something. He then told me he called but could not get willie. I then told him willie didn't come on duty till 11:00 in the afternoon. He said he would call back it was 11:06 by then and that he would call me back asap, i told him to hurry because i am hours away from the store, that if we wre going to resolve this it had to be soon based on traveling distance. He said sure. We got off phone at 11:16 he never called, i called him back at 12:00 he informed me that he didn't get a callback yet, that he would call Willie within 10 minutes and call me back.

He never did. I called another number trying to find name of district manager, spoke with a nice gentleman that wants to remain nameless. Told him what was going on, he told me the "fee" is bull, that they could not resale a faulty pc, so there is no need for the "fee" and he told me that there should a manager there at all times., and for them both to be on vacation, there should be some firing going on. (who is running that storeif both managers are gone?) and that he is sorry for all my troubles and to file a complaint with you, which i am doing. I then called back the 800 number and i spoke to Maria Williams at 1:02, wanted the number and name of a disrtict manager, she said she didn't have any info, i them informed her of problems and asked her what can i do, she told me she was writing to the corporate escalation department and that they would call me Monday.

I then told her about Paul Jones and asked her why didn't he ever call me back, she said hold on, then she told me because he was busy since he last talked to me. I had a legimate $1500.00 problem and he couldn't call me back. What? I am thinking of taking this to court, i need help, please help me, i am not rich and should not have to pay a fee, for a malfunctioning computer. Below are the serial numbers, date, reciept number, and a list of the problems i have been having with said merchandise, i also have dates, times and reference numbers if you need them. I also called Gateway who also gave me the run around on 2/11/05... Serial numbers; tower; qac4c 113 00423, moniter me751 90L 02903, printer my47id70qw, date purchased 2/2/05, reciept (ticket) number 324401534562. Price $1455.12.

The problems I have been having are as follows; Freezing, sound goes out, mouse freezes, won't play games, pc will just cut off for no reason numerous times, it took it 15 minutes to restart, very slow, sometimes pc will not come back on for hours. For these types of problems i should not have had to pay $1455.12. And shoould recieve a full refund and apology for all i have been through... Please help me.By the way when i spoke to Willie the first time on 2/8/05 it was to bring back a game that would not work also. I then asked for the pc person in charge, They gave me willie, i told him about the problems then, i was told it was viruses because i have a nice high dollar pc. He gave me an example, he said, "if i had a ferari car and an old car which would some body try to steal?" i told him i was running the virusware from the company and my pc was clean. I told him i would try to see if it improved. And i would get back with him. It did not.

I got back with him, gave the pc and circuit city the benefit of doubt for 13 days, was given no form of relief, and now i want a refund. Also i was supposed to get rebates, i have not seen them, also one of the rebates for printer said i didn't qualify with my serial number but i was promised rebate of $50.00 for that... I have seen none of them, including from other items i have purchased from circuit city within 1 days of the pc. Help me please it is not fair.
