My son with two more persons went to La Fitness for a membership. The administrator said with three persons it can be better. My son did not have his credit card and call me for my number and I gave my number by phone. My son went to New York the same day and the same day one of the person said he did not want that membership.
Then the following day I went to the La Fitness and spoke this situation with a lady named Christie, she kept the contract and said that the administrator was not there and told me to come back in three days and she will have all the cancellation done.
When I went there, the administrator named Willie was very nasty and said my son went there and said this was not cancelled. (of course my son did not know what happened with the another person) but Willie processed the cancellation, gave me the three documents for the three persons and told me to put in the mail to the correct address. I did it inmediately. I wait one month and I receive a letter that this will be cancelled after three months and the $330.57 charged in my credit card will not be refunded to me.
This is not what Mr. Willie told me, now Christie said she doesn't remember this and Willie was in a very bad manners gave me a wrong instructions. I did the cancellation inmediately and I did what they told me to do it. The three persons never went to the La Fitness and this is a fraud to customer.
Please, I am requesting the refund or the money back in my credit card. This happened in La Fitness located in 8555 sw 124 ave. Miami,
