This company continues to charge my credit card $79.95 for the last 4 months even after cancelling and promised the credits to my account

On 9/25/04, The first charge for $48.00 showed up on my credit card statement. The payee was sgada.com800-370-5012 Nicosia CYP. I didn't 'catch' this one at the time. Then on 10/26/04 I had another charge from SGADA.com for $79.95. I called the toll-free number. They gave me NewHealthy Savings.com's phone number and explained that they are just the billing service NewHeathly Savings.com uses.

I called NewHeathly Savings.com. I requested a refund and cancelled the service. They were pleasant and agreed to credit my account for the $79.95 and cancel the service.By the way, I didn't even know what the service was for. I checked out their website. I know I never requested any service of this type. However, when I spoke to customer service they indicated that I must have signed up for Music and/or Movie Download service 'somewhere'. They weren't specific at all. The website (www.newheathlysavings.com) doesn't refer to this type of service at all. This was when I knew this was a SCAM!

Anyway, the saga continues. I've been charged $79.95 in November, December, and January. Each month I've called and emailed them at [email protected]. They don't give any reason why the charges haven't been refunded or stopped. When I get adamant they transfer me to a 'Matilda'. She is nice but argues about how much they will refund.

Now the latest. I received an email yesterday from Nobody [[email protected]]. This time NewHeathly Savings.com is using Greatsupply Enterprises for their billing. The credit card charge will show 'gseweb.com888-201-5771' instead of 'sgada.com800-370-5012'.

I called NHS.com again today. And sure enough was transferred to 'Matilda' and had to explain everything again to her. She even remembered me. She looked up my account and tried again to get away with not refunding all of the 4 months. I also told her about the new email and she didn't respond to that at all. When I got angry, she told me that I need to email '[email protected]' and request all 4 months to be refunded. I've already emailed them several times and never get any response. She said something about that's the only way my request will get to the person that is in charge.

One more thing. After researching all this from my emails, Quicken, and my credit card website, I believe I know how I got caught up in this SCAM.in Sept, I downloaded a 'file-sharing' program called Shareaza_2.1.0.0. Exe. I think that's what I thought the original $48.00 was for.

Everybody out there, be aware and be very careful on the Internet. I am a huge internet shopper and I love it but I will be alot more careful and I always check my credit card statement. I am sure there are many people that don't check their statements and that is how SCAMS like this one continue. NHS.com is probably making a ton of money each month.
