I bought the Linkworld 430W power supply from Fry's during 2004's after Thanksgiving sale. The item was advertised as $27.99 with rebate of $27.99. I mailed in all the requested materials (rebate form, upc code, sale receipt) on December 6.
Then in early February I received a letter from Linkworld stating that my rebate is denied due to the missing receipt. Fortunately I had photocopied all the materials that were submitted and thus I decided to give them a call. Talked with Ramon who offered no help whatsoever. Basically told me that I'm out of luck. I can't not re-submit nor would they care to re-exam my original submission. What a bunch of crooks. Will never buy anything else from these thieves.
