Linkworld ripoff $27 power supply rebate bought from Fry's
11/26, I bought the power supply, I filed the rebate in a week, (it was due 12/15) with the following things rebate receipt from Fry's rebate form UPC
(Linkworld also wanted a copy of sales receipt. I didn't send it. Also, Linkworld doesn't have the right to require anything what they want.)
11/26-01/22 there is no response, no online status check avaliable from Linkworld
01/22 I sent an inquiry to [email protected]
01/25 They replied to me that my rebate was denied because I didn't send a copy of sales receipt
01/25 I sent them a copy of sales receipt by a scanned image file
01/26 They replied they don't accept resubmission, they said because there was a policy on the rebate form that was: "resubmissions of the rebate offer will
not be processed"
01/26 I can't find that sentence from my rebate form, then I asked them where was it.
01/27 They sent me a different rebate form that was different with the one I got from Fry's. There is one line of the above sentence on the bottom of their form.
01/27 I told them on my rebate form, there were no such words.
01/28 They replied the rebate was close on 12/15
01/28 I told them two reasons,
(1) the close date was for the submission, but not the resubmission;
(2) they were responsible to tell me I did't send a copy of sales receipt right after they received my mail and before their "closed date".
They intended to do this to make you fail. (They make them sound like they are right, you are wrong. Rediculous!)
I will not give up.
I report this here today.
I will ask Fry's for help.
I will report to LA Consumer Affairs Department.
I will write a small claim case to the court.
Cheating merchants must suffer from what they have done.
