I purchased a motherboard from them. My account rep was Elias Bello and he told me that there was a $40 mail in rebate on the motherboard. After recieving the motherboard and downloading the rebate information from Tiger Direct, I noticed it was only a $30 rebate and that it expired a week before I purchased the motherboard.
They said to go ahead and send it in, as they had an agreement for the company to extend and up the rebate. They said if I had a problem to let them know and they would make it good. Well, I waited for 19 weeks before contacting the rebate offerer (KOBIAN-CANADA) and after several e-mails and one phone call I was informed the rebate expired before I applied for it so I wasnt entitled to it. I called Tiger Direct like I was told and they said to send a copy of the refusal letter to them and they would check on it. The person I talked to said to e-mail him and attach the refusal leter to the e-mail I did and sent it to him at nelson. [email protected]. 2 weeks later I have yet to hear from anyone about my rebate. I have bought from them before and had no problems, but this is the first time I have been eligible for a rebatre and so far I am not impressed with their service.
