I bought a Dell PC in September. At the time I said I wanted to pay with my company credit card. The Dell rep talked hard and fast about what a great deal the 60 day loan same as cash program was for a small business. He assured me that I could pay it off at any time.
I received an acknowlegement in November but no statement. I received my first statement December 28 complete with financing charges and late fees. My calls to the company were a waste of time. The customer service reps in India were so hard to understand that I just hung up. When I asked about using a a direct withdrawl from my checking Iwas told that the fee would be $15.00. (5 times what MBNA charges.) When I said I would mail the payoff in the rep tried to scare by saying they have a lot of checks and may not get my processed by the next pay period.
I said i would be happy to call my attorney and the Stae's attorney general.
Stay away from Dell.
