MSN Hotmail
No customer service unable to reach Internet

I am pasting below (to save time) a copy of an email I just tried sending to MSN using their customer service contact form and any other form I could possibly use on their site. Well to add to the problem already listed below now I cannot even contact them, whenever I click "submit" I either get "page cannot be displayed" or "you are not authorized/do not have credentials" to view this page. So besides the problem that I have been having for a year now (described below), now I cannot even tell them about it. If anyone can help with the issue at hand or relate to this please respond.

Also, I am not currently a "paying" MSN subscriber but still have this account, is that why they are not allowing me to "contact" them? I have done several YAHOO searches trying to find any way to get this inquiry sent to them with no luck, the only means in which I was "allowed" to send this inquiry was via their "feedback" form which clearly states "feedback comments are NOT responded to and are solely regarded as FEEDBACK rather than customer service. It's funny how I can send feedback but not an inquiry regarding my account. I know this post is very long but if anyone knows anything about MSN or hotmail or has related problems, please take the time to read what is pasted below and help me out if you could. I appreciate it very much:

TO MSN-I have wrote to you regarding this problem at least 2 times over the past year and you have NEVER reponded yet. I understand you may be busy, but it's ridiculous and I have been "dealing"with this problem while I await your help, but that help never comes. Please help me resolve this issue promptly, if you check your records you will see I have been trying to get your assistance for over a year now, it's about time for you to help me. Here's the issue-I have a hotmail account as do other household members using my PC.

I have had this account for years since I opened an MSN account when I purchased my PC and this email was provided to me. Even though I now use a cable modem instead of the MSN dial up service I had in the past, I still retained my email account. My family members have hotmail accounts which they have also had for the same amount of yrs. As me, they created theirs during the same time period mine was created, only they were given "hotmail.com" as a domain and I was given "MSN.com" since I was the "main" person (the one who paid the bills and who retained MSN as an ISP back then.

So anyway, years have passed and suddenly some time last year my email account went wacky on me. The format of my emails changed.in the past my email account was set up like this: new unopened emails were always listed at the top of the 1st page and anything I already opened and did not delete or move to other folders was listed underneath the "new" emails in order by "DATE" from most recent to oldest.in other words, all new emails were easily accessible at the top of the page and the oldest ones such as the "welcome email" (the first one sent by MSN when an account is created) was at the bottom of the page, or the end of the list. This made sense!

Of course my new emails should be right in front of me at the top of the list, easily accessible for me to click to view or check to delete unwanted mail. Every other email program I know of (AOL, yahoo, etc) is set up like this. It just makes sense. Then last year this all changed and became the reverse. This only happened to my account, it did not happen to my other family members who hold hotmail accounts, their accounts have remained unchanged and have no problems and they use the same household PC so it can be ruled out that something on my PC caused the problem. Since then my emails now show the oldest ones on the top and on the first page and all the new emails are on the bottom (usually the 2nd page), forcing me to have to do more work to check new emails.

Even more confusing is that when this first happened, the emails just randomly changed and were scattered among the page in no particular order, mixing new emails between old ones, and not in any type of order. I wrote to you back then and you never responded and over time it changed to be a regular "routine" of all new emails at the bottom of the list and all the older "opened" emails are in order from oldest to newest with the oldest at the top of the page. So in other words, say I have 10 new emails, when I sign in I am presented with all the old opened emails on the first page, then I have to go to page 2 to check the new emails. Back then I checked everything in my "options" my "settings" and the "help" menu and found nothing covering this matter.

I thought maybe I accidentally set it this way and I could correct it and set it back to the "correct" way but there is nothing anywhere on the site relating to this issue. I waited months, I wrote you again at least one other time many months ago and STILL no response. Right above this box it says "to ensure a QUICK resolution" I should provide details, etc. I did all that, I provided SPECIFIC DETAILS and you never responded.

So now, I have taken another 30 minutes of my time to give it 1 more shot. This time I will save a copy of this inquiry for my records should you choose not to respond again and force me to take further action reporting this lack of customer service to the appropriate people. All I want is for my emails to be in the order they should be. I have many other email accounts and using this one is very frustrating for me.

I am considering just closing the account if you do not help soon, but I do not want to since I use this email address for many matters and I have been doing so for years, it would be a pain to have to cancel an account I use so much. Why did this happen and how can I correct it? I assume maybe if I deleted all old messages it would go back to normal but why should I have to do so? I have messages I would like to retain for my records and do not feel the need to have to sort them into folders or save them to my PC. Why can;t my account just work properly like the hotmail accounts my family members have been using for so many years? Please help me to resolve this issue in an expediated manner. Thank you for your time and hopefully your helpful remedy?

P.S. I too had the problems with BestbUy charging my credit card the first year I had this MSN service but that's a whole different story.
