Ripoff lied cheated mislead abused deceived arrogant

This company is running a complete scam operation. Not only are they a complete scam and rip-off, but the owner Joe Richey is an arrogant, lying scumbag. Everyone on this site and the many other sites, I have found complaints about him on, is right on the money about this guy and his scam operation.

Before I tell how he has scammed me and then arrogantly tries to dismiss me, I want to make sure that everyone who wants to see him shut down and face justice should go about it.

While this site and to an extent the BBB are helpful in reporting these criminal con artists, they do not have any legal basis to act on. The proper places to report him to are listed below. When reporting him, be sure to avoid name calling and other colorful jargon, which while may accurately describe him, doesn't help in getting him prosecuted. Be sure to file with each and everyone of the agency below.

The single most important agency to file a complaint against him with is the United States Postal Inspectors. Here is the link to go to:

Another very important agency to file with is the FTC, when they get enough complaints in on a company, the action starts. Here is the direct link where you will want to file your report.

And another very important site to file at is the Consumer Protection Agency in his home town, enough complaints going into their site will get a local investigation under way pronto.
Here is the direct link to his home towns Consumer Protection Agency.

A phone call to the agencies director is also a good idea, his information is (503) 229-5576 and ask for the Attorney Generals Office.

So on to how Joe Richey scammed me personally. I was taken in by his countless emails, week after week I get his emails promising spectacular deals and promos. So, finally I decided to check one out. He was offering free shipping on any order placed over a particular weekend.

So, I went to his site and found a video game system that looked like it might be a good seller. I saw that he charges a pretty hefty fee for orders under $150, so in order to avoid his $12.50 service fee, I ordered 11 units of the game system at the stated price of $14.50 each. I thought it was strange that his site doesn't have a shopping cart, you need to fill out a form and submit it to place an order. So, I carefully filled out the form and put in the description as video game system $14.50 each X 11 total $159.50 total FREE shipping per email promo.

To my suprise I get an invoice telling me the total of my order is $219.45 not the agreed and stated on the order form I submitted $159.50 I email Joe Richey that there is a problem with the amount he is charging and that he either needs to adjust it or I will have to refuse the order. I get an email back telling me that this is the 40 piece price and that he is not going to adjust anything. I then emailed him back telling him there is nothing to indicate this on his site and that I clearly marked the prices and the total I was authorizing him to charge right on his order form. He then emails back to go look at his site AND BAM all of a sudden it appears on his site that $14.50 is now the price for 40 pieces orders, even through I have a copy of the page BEFORE he went in and edited the page and changed the price shown.

Clearly this is his way of covering the "FREE" shipping and over charging customers. He then in the most arrogant ways tells me go ahead and refuse the shipment and he is going to charge me restocking fees and doesn't care if I dispute the charge with my bank. He also states I should "just go ahead and accept the order and be happy". He ends his email with do not email him again, he is going away until Decemeber 19th and won't answer them if I do. He gives me some other email address and says I can email them and wait 72 hours for a reply.

In conclusion, he is showing one price and then going in and changing pricing as he wishes and tries to get you for way more then the price shown. He also tries to rope you in with his fake free shipping offers and then over charges you for the goods to make up the shipping charges.

Joe Richey shows no interest what so ever in customer service, he is rude, arrogant and does not try in the least to work with you. I asked him several times if he wanted to try and work this out and meet somewhere in the middle and he flat out refused and simply threatened me with a 25% restocking fee. He also refuses to address why he did not contact me prior to shipping if the price he was charging disagreed with the price I clearly marked on his order form, as the price shown on his web site.

His actions clearly show that he is a scam artist and everyone needs to report him and his company to the sites above, as well as on this site and the BBB. The authorities will take action when they hear from everyone he has abused and scammed.
