I got a call from a person claiming to be named Jamie from a company named Futurology. She advised me that her company "works with" Google, and was calling to warn me that if I didn't "validate" my company (website) with Futurology/Google, for a fee of $99, that my company's website would be removed from Google's pages.
The phone number she gave me as a call-back number if I decided to do business with them simply had a recording that said "B241 test successful."
So I am assuming this is a bogus company. Their website (Futurology.com) has nothing except a page with the email address [email protected].
I wouldn't trust them with a dime.
