In a hurry, thinking good prices on President's Day, per the news reports of cheap prices, found on a legitimate search site, an Dell Laptop i3 processor, met all my needs for $299.00. I clicked on the item and it took me to google wallet/checkout. I had a google account, and proceeded with the purchase. I received a receipt within minutes and realized the company's name didn't appear on the receipt. I rechecked the company's website, and sure enough, no name on the entire website either. The next day, I tried to contact google and they still haven't responded to my current total of about 13 requests for help and hours of trying to call and get some kind of customer service. The company's phone number is not real, and now (today) their entire website has disappeared. I called Wells Fargo and for some reason, they want to get between google (the company who actually debited my checking account) and their merchant and said that they can't do anything until the passing of 15 days, or enough time to allow the "company" to ship my product. No ONE is listening, there is no company! Google should be responsible for this SCAM.
