Front desk staff is rude, they lie, and keep you on hold for years before you reach someone. When you finally do reach someone, they lie and say they are the manager. When they are not. They do not work with you.
Corporate is no better. Even the higher ups are rude, and do not listen to the consumer. I can no longer afford my membership and all they can do is "freeze" my account.in my preferred location, the front desk staff consist of little girls (likely mid 20's) who have not one ounce of customer service in their bones. They mislead you, the massage therapist are not presentable (most look unkept and dusty) and again they do not work with you.
If you need a massage, please, I am begging you, DO NOT GO TO MASSAGE ENVY. They have the absolute worst cancellation policy, will not work with you, rude, incompetent staff, corporate is unreachable, they lie, and they do not give you the full story.By the way, good luck finding corporate's number as it is not listed online without doing some heavy searching.
Worst experience ever with a company. $59.00 a month for a mediocre massage. Horrible customer service, horrible policy, just horrible. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I wish I never had to go back. Please heed my warning.
