The Human Resources Department for this hospital is outrageous. I know a few good people personally that work there and I can attest to their integrity and good faith efforts. However, it seems that the hiring department has become a bit prejudice in respects to filling certain requirements. As some of the complaints before my comment mentioned above concerning the bad practices and overcharging, it seems just the same in Human Resources. This whole hospital system is so large they can afford to chastise the patients and potential employees. After the process with them that I endured, I would never accept employment if offered (However, probably wouldn't have that opportunity). There were demeaning comments made about my personality, nationality, and I was told that I was plain out desperate for a job and that it would be in my best interest to never apply there again, and that I had applied too many times (All jobs I was very qualified for). I felt so alienated and singled out, and most of all horrified that I was hearing these comments. They are rude and very judgmental and make you feel like you have done something wrong, or perhaps maybe even a criminal (Which I am not). Why post this you may ask? Just in case someone else experiences the same treatment with Northeast Georgia Medical Center, you can rest assure that you're not alone.
