Ripoff offered free sample, then deceptively entered me as "Managed Care Member"

I responded to a TV ad for a free 30 day supply of Altovis. I would need only to pay the postage of $4.50.

The "free sample" arrived OK. I did not like the product... It was not useful so I thought that would be the end of it.

Today (8/5/04) I received a 60 day supply by mail saying that I was a "Managed Care Direct" member and would receive a 60 day supply every two months automatically and be billed $70 to my credit card. I did not agree to this.

I immediately called my credit card company and they said they would credit my account for the $70. I then called the Berkeley company to tell them I was sending back the product I did not order. I was told they would not accept any returns and that they had already received the $70 from my credit card.

This is a total rip off!
