Heartless Company with only regard for Bottom Line

I have had nothing but a negative experience since CVS Caremark took over our prescription coverage. This is an unfortunate example of where our healthcare is going, a company making decisions on someone’s medication with no resolve, care, concern on the outcome of the patient. When dealing with a human beings prescriptions - I think that the response to me asking the question "can you help me with medication for the ten days that it will take you to refill my prescription" (since I was turned away from my local target who has given superior service due to CVS Caremark denying and requiring mail in service) - the response from a poor Customer Care person (they did nothing wrong, just doing their job) was "did you not receive numerous letters in the mail telling you how we work". To me, that is UNEXEPTABLE, so because I am not used to your process that you decided to change and bestow upon me, your "punishment" will be to keep me without my Synthroid (thyroid medicine that I am on because I had half of my thyroid surgically removed) for ten business days. Just heartless, unpersonable, HORRIBLE. You know I will be ok if something happens to me, but my TRUE fear is for my Son who is on anti-seizure medicine - and what if we miss the timeframe to renew or call in our mail in prescription, or whatever it is for him - and they ask me "did you not read the mail we sent to you". FIRST OF ALL - I have been at three addresses within in the past year due to building a home. Second of all - to mess with peoples lives and medication is horrible, not sure who made CVS Caremark GOD, but it's horrible. I am not one to file complaints, am an educated hard working individual - but this is just going too far. And when I asked to escalate or file a complaint - she typed it down for me on the phone. Doubtful it will go anywhere. So I google "complaints CVS Caremark" and come up with COUNTLESS sites and complaints. When will they make a change or realize what they are doing. Probably never because someone is sipping rum punch at the beach rolling high in the money - while I struggle to get TEN DAYS OF SYNTHROID because I didn't call in time or didn't read a letter - OR - yes, I do have the option to pay express shipping if I'd like - but it will not expedite the process itself. Discouraging, disheartening - I would be embarrassed to work for this company and am nothing but afraid for myself, my children and what the future holds with suits running companies like this. And don't get me wrong, I'm a business woman myself, but when you mess with my family and health that is crossing the line. I actually work in the healthcare business and we do WHATEVER IT TAKES to keep our customers and hospitals up and running, we worry about the paperwork the next day, patient care is number one. Unfortunately not for CVS Caremark. If someone has an option, I would highly recommended running as far away from this place as possible.
