Hey refused to give me a regular cleaning

Have use them for years, and this is the 2nd time they did this to me.
Lst time. I go in for my routine cleaning. They tell me I need periodontal work, I don't want it and can't afford it, so I say I just want a regular cleaning. They refused to give me a regular cleaning unless i got the more expensive periodantal work (which my insurance does not pay for. Fortunately I was going to NJ, so I had my old dentist clean my teeth who said I did not need it. Could not afford to keep traveling so a year later I had to go to them, the hygenist and dentist harrassed me and sent me to their payment coordinator and the only way they gave me a cleaning I had to get the PERIODONTAL WORK. (Approx $200 out of pocket)
2nd time. This year in Jan I go for an exam. Was told I had two small "pockets" rear upper left of mouth. I did not want a deep cleaning. They did not push it and gave me a regular cleaning because I was spending money on a crown, and to have a tooth surgically removed? Had the crown.in July I went for the surgery and found I could get a crown and not pull my tooth. I had Nanston give me another Crown on (completed August 26. Returned on August 31 for my regular cleaning and was refused, was told the Dr. Wanted me to see the periodontist. I don't want to see him, I have no money to pay, I just want my regular cleaning. Was badgered coerced, intimidated, and refused services, and abandoned because I did not opt for the MORE EXPENSIVE SERVICE. They refused to give me a regular cleaning. (I am reporting them to the Dental Licensing Board) and wish I had a good lawyer. It is outright DISCRIMINATION, EXTORTION, Coercion and DENIAL OF MY CIVIL RIGHTS, AND MY PATIENT RIGHTS.
Also, in 2006 they diagnosed I need a crown. I paid my out of pocket approx $300.00 and got the crown. My Insurance denied their payment, I asked the Dentist to write a appeal, they still denied. Finally, my Insurance Co sent me a copy of the xray, which cleary showed the tooth decay did not warrant a crown. (I have great dental insurance and they have never refused to pay). So I had to pay the another approx $400.00. When I complained was told, that was the dentist said I needed.
Also, watch out for any credit refunds you are due. They do not return your money if they you overpay. Once they held my overpayment for a year, and once for six months. When I complained, was told, I have the same paperwork they have and I should have asked the. They do not review their records to return your monies, but if you owe them, I bet they will take you to court. I believe, by law they have 90 days to return to you your over payments. They are getting interest by holding on to peoples overpayments and collecting interest on it
