I am a professional Executive that has suffered from addiction for the last 10 years. I found this Marla Morgan locally and called to make an appointment. It took several calls and messages to her before she finally called me back. She did a quick phone interview but told me that her office was being painted right now but would I be able to meet her at a local coffee shop the next day at Noon. I thought this was a little weird. She told me she doesn't take insurance but could work with me on her fees.
The next day I met with her and she spent most of the time asking me about my profession, whether I was married (I am divorced) and whether I had children, owned a home. The type of work I did and roughly my monthly salary. Again a little weird but she seemed very intellegent and was attractive. After about 45 minutes she said I would like to set up another appointment with you to come up with a plan for addressing your addiction to alcohol.
