I would like to add to the 2 reports of this fraudulent company, www.pharmacycards.com, and their $139.00 charges. I, too was a victim of this. I called the bank on March 3 to get my balance and this electronic withdrawal of $139.00 was on there. I've never heard of the company, nor did I ever give any authorization for this charge. The bank gave me the phone number, which was incorrect, and the website company name. And, imagine this... It was wrong too.in the meantime, I have to wait for the bank to send me the affidavit of forgery stuff... And it could take several weeks to get this cleared up.
Now, I've been a victim of identity fraud in the past... I don't take kindly to this, and I really don't appreciate people helping themselves to the money I've worked hard for. I told the bank immediately to send the affidavit... No sense screwing around with this one. I know the whole routine all to well. I don't pay my bills online, and I don't do online checking. Yet, this still happened.
I was actually relieved to see I was not the only one. I would hope that some type of criminal action is brought to whomever is taking $139.00 out of all these accounts. I also think they should repay with interest.
