My husband and I purchased a 5 year contract with Heart Check America in Denver, CO for $3000.00. We were told we would receive a Coronary Artery Scan, Lung Scan, QCT Bone Density Scan, Virtual Colonoscopy, and a full Body Scan every other year for my husband and I. They showed us an episode on Oprah Winfrey where she validated Heart Check America's scans and talked about the importance of getting a scan for preventative healthcare.
They offer a first scan for FREE and offer one for your spouse for only $100.00 but they try to pressure you in telling you what a great deal you will get if you buy a 5 yr. Or 10 yr. That day. If you were to leave and decide to buy later, the price would jump exponentially.
I only received my bone density scan and never received my full body scan. When I tried to call the company, there is a message saying that they are going through reorganization. I then called all over the country and found the same message all over the country. BBB gave them an F rating. Don't get scammed by this company or these people ever again. They are now supposedly operating as Cancer Check America at 843-682-2220.
