One week prior to May 23 I purchased an emergency reading glasses from the Walmart store on New circle road. My original Prescribed glasses had given up after an approximate ten years service. I am short sited and depends on at least a 1.50 lens to read or write any thing. Without the aid of a glasses it is impossible for me to do my job. On May 23rd 2011 the glasses came apart while using it at work. I decided to return the glasses to Walmart and ask for a replacement. However Walmart refused to replace the $17.00 lens because i did not save the receipt. Is this the family store. Do they really care about their customers?
Walmart now has the $17.00 which i paid for the glasses plus the pair of lens - minus the screw which came off of the glasses. Is this really the value store which they claim to be?
