The program does a hard sell, but it is the half truths and the not honoring of the guaranteed weight loss that has upset me greatly. My husband and I purchased the program to loose the weight to reach our goal weights. Together we nearly $4000 for a 20 week program and and 12 week program with a platinum lifetime membership to have guaranteed results. We were told we should loose 3-5 pounds per week which would allow us to reach our goal weight in the 12 or 20 week program if we followed the plan.
We followed the plan and lost weright, but not at the rate of 3-5 pounds per week, but with a slow, steady decline. We were happy with the program, and because we went over our weeks, began purchasing the pills and supplements additionally to guarantee the continued weight loss. We were then told we were out of weeks and the weight loss to goal weight was not really guaranteed. The manager of the center asked us for over $1500 additionally for more time to reach our goal weight.
This was totally not acceptable as we had already paid a tremendous amount to be a "lifetime member" and now the " lifetime" was over because we didnt loose the 3-5 pounds per week that we were told by the center was guaranteed. I was not asking for my money back, only the continuation in the program until I reached the goal weight that the center had agreed were obtainable goals and to which we had been striving. I did not want to go on maintenance until we had achieved what we had paid for - guaranteed results. Am I missing something, Quick Weght Loss breaks the guarantee, and we pay for it??
