My wife responded to an offer for a "Free Trial" of LeanSpa weight control pills. After a week we found a charge of approximately $80 on her credit card. I then contacted the company and was told that the product was only free if we were not satisfied and returned it within 14 days.
After a lengthy discussion they agreed to let me send the product back for a refund. I received an RMA number and sent the product back (with a tracking number and signiture request). After 5 weeks I contacted the company and asked where my refund was. I was told that they did not have a record of receiving it. I gave them the tracking number and they then verified receipt of the product and promised a refund in 7 to 10 days. If I did not follow up or have a tracking number, I would have had no chance to get my money back. As it stands, I will have to wait 2 more weeks to see if the refund appears.
