When my husband and I decided to become members of riviera fitness, we were doing so because we wanted to get our health in shape and lose a few pounds. When we went into the gym, there was a guy who spoke to us and explained to us the details of the membership. He expaline that since my husband was not working, i could have the contact under my name. He informed me that there would only be one contract. But, 2 cards that were going to be used under this one contract. Well, i requested to be taken off automatic withdrawl. After being taken off, i missed a payment. I called the company because i wanted to make a payment the next month. This is when i came to discover that 2 contracts had been taken out. One for my husband and one for me. My husband was still on automatic withdrawl because when i requested to be taken off, my husband's account was being charged for return fees as well as late payments. I was infuriated when i discovered this because i was not informed that there would be 2 contracts!!! When i asked to speak to a head person, i was told by the customer service rep that she did not have the phone number of the person that i needed to speak to. These people are very money hungry and they are full of tricks. Signer: beware.
