Glow Didn't realize they were going to charge me $98.50 tax, S&H if didn't mail it back. Had AMEX block them

I ordered a free trial of the Kronos hair product, only of discover I had a couple of weeks to try it and return it or I would be billed $98.50 tax, S&H. It wasn't worth it but why must I ship back the "free" sample? At my cost. They said that was their rule. I said cancel me and had AMEX put a block on them. They may try to sneak it using another name. I'll never pay it! Or do a "free" trial again.
