The company "Premier Whitening" led off its campaign for 1 week in each state and may still be cycling through the US. It offered a trial sample of whitening solution (peroxide gel) in a dental fixture for the cost of $0.99 plus S&H. However when you clicked on the "read terms" (or it wouldn't let you complete the request), you were accepting a $99.00 membership fee and $60.00 / month renewal (for toothpaste???).
You are given 10 days to cancel prior to the scam kicking in. Only problem was, no emails to cancel get acknowledged and their phones mailboxes were always full. It was not possible to contact them or have them even acknowledge the credit card company.
The scammers made attempts over the past 3 months to withdraw the funds on an account which (fortunately) is kept with minimal funds so that they have been unable to complete the transaction (Paypal).
