My mother in law was admitted to the hospital on 6-5-09 with a bursted appendix my husband and i was finally called on Saturday evening at 830 letting us know she was in the hospital, we went to her to see how she was doing spent from 9pm till 1030 pm with her and she talked and had no problems with us being there with her. The next day 6-7-09 we returned to the hospital to visit and check up on her and there was a sign on door saying to check in at the nurses station first so we did and as we did was told by the head nurse we were not allowed to go into her room per my husbands brother that lives out of town.
He has orders we are not allowed to see her anymore, we asked the nurse to go in to her room and aske her if she would see us and tell us weather she wanted us to leave or not she said i can not do that it is the brother who is said you are not to be in there. My husbands mother is got her mind she is able to talk and knows what she wants. The nursing staff did nothing to find out if she wanted to see us or not.
The other brother has went back to were he lives and will be returning in the middle of the week. There needs to be some action taken on this hospital they dont know what good care is. They are a poor place to take anyone to. Most the staff and doctors are worthless they are all a bunch of quakes. Diagnosies are most always wrong.
