Said there was a 15 day trial period and when i called to cancel before what i thought was before the 15 days they already charged my account and said the time started before you even received the product

The product i ordered had a 15 day trial period. When i called to cancel i was told i was to late. I did not know they counted from the day you placed the order, not from when you received it in the mail how can you known if a product works if you haven't received it for the full trial period. They were sure to charge my account in the 15 days from the order date.
