American Specialty Health
Rip off

I've been protected under Anthem Blue Cross via COBRA since 1/1/09. Anthem is meant to protect 20 mixed acupuncture and/or chiro visits each year according to my program contract.

Anthem Blue Cross subcontracts with ASH (National Specialty Health) to manage membership, authorizations and pricing for each acupuncture and chiro treatment providers. Though I've settled all rates promptly and approached Anthem numerous occasions about my insufficient membership, ASH keeps insisting that my spouse and that I aren't within their repository (meaning not entitled to rewards). Allegedly ASH has lastly "personally included me and my spouse" for their databasse (it required 2.5 weeks to get this done!) to ensure that my acupuncturist are now able to publish authorizations and statements for me personally.

Fourteen days ago, I obtained a notice from ASH informing me that they're permitting 1 extra acupuncture visit after dark 5 which are immediately given. I've had 6 acupuncture treatments completed and that I still require more remedies for actual health conditions! And also the strategy claims that 20 appointments are said to be coated per twelve months

Allegedly Anthem is focusing on a reconsideration of my agreement issue with ASHN. It's been 14 days because the auth was submitted. Just how long could it be designed to consider beyond that? I can not obtain a right solution from Anthem with this and ASH is difficult to speak with. Trust me, I Have tried speaking with their customer support people numerous occasions

ASH is doing insurance scam for me and that Iam not the only real target of the. I have been informed by my acupuncturist that ASH NEVER authorizes the entire quantity of individual appointments so you CANNOT access your complete chiro/acupuncture advantage (said to be 20 trips per twelve months). ASH drags their toes on authorizations, keeps messing up your membership info (so they may declare you're ineligible for protection), plus they delay so long as possible to pay for their statements. Does this seem like an honest organization for you? Or is it really Anthem who's the issue GIVEN THAT THEY SPEND ASH to manage chiro and acupuncture advantages? In either case, avoid ASH if possible. They're TERRIBLE to cope with for that individual as well as for companies!
