I ordered a sample product for $4.95 from XM Brands, which I received on the 14th day after ordering. The problem I have with these people, I cancelled the product, but got billed $139.95, these people are skirting the law with what they do and getting away with it.
This is a product that I cancelled within their 15 day time frame as stated on their order form: "understand that by ordering I am agreeing to receive products for a free 15 day trial period. I understand that if I do not cancel within the 15 day trial period my credit card will automatically be charged $89.95 each month for a new 1 month supply of products until I cancel"
They are claiming that I checked off a box for a combo order that was $139.95 and that I should have seen their guidelines that said cancel in 10 days somewhere else on their site.
Issues:
1. You cannot get them by phone, it took me 45 minutes today before anyone picked up and that was my 4th call for the day.
2. I made several phone calls prior, after 20 minutes it would either go to voice mail and a full one at that.
3. They have no visible address on the site as to where they are located, only the address label tells where.
4. There is no email address on the site either.
5. As far as cancellation, how are they allowed by law to have two different cancellation policies on the same issue. One buried somewhere else on the site and one infront of you for, you to read and believe that this is what it is supposed to be.
