Complaint Description:
My husband and I joined Golds last year. I paid a activation fee 1 month in advance and my husband got on with 1 month in advance. 12 mnth membership. It has been 12 months March 09 so I sent a letter to Golds (return reciept requested) to cancel the membership 30 days in advance as advised. Now they have my account in collectios with: Golds Gym International Phase 1 - 125 E. John Charpenter Freeway Suite 1300 Irving TX 75062
I had sent several complaints to Golds because when I joined the club I informed them that I am disabled and can only use the pool. The pool was constantly down, or was not kept warm in the winter which made it impossible for me to use. I stopped going to the club because of all the issues which the club never addressed. The pool would be down for weeks at a time or cold for weeks at a time. Their own trainer who is also disabled could not get into the pool and had to teach the class out of the water. I want thme to remove my account from collections and close it.
