You can trust St. Louis Workout to do everything possible to get your money. They are worse than an auto-renew website. Forget trying to cancel anything with them.
I prepaid a year's membership and was injured in the free first session with a personal trainer. Not realizing what had happened, I signed up the same day and paid for 10 sessions with the then-head trainer.
A few days later at my first paid appointment I told them that my back had been hurt and I couldn't do the training. They tried to switch me to a trainer I had never seen before and refused to give me my money back. After six months of physical therapy and fighting with them, they were still able to keep everything I had paid.
The partners in this business are real pieces of work and well-practiced at winning battles. They are notorious for auto-renewing and doing anything they can to get your money. I am not sure how they have any members left. I am filing suit against them next week.
