I thought I was getting a free (as-advertised) ("Free Trial Packages Going Fast!") sample of special green tea for weight loss. The only amount I recall was that even the shipping cost "$4.95" was free. The confirmation email was impossible to read on my computer. The package came and was full of special offers to take before and after photos of yourself to be used in advertising. I threw that away. The tea wasn't bad, but nothing special.
Then a few days ago I got a box from Wu-Yi, shipped from Des Moines, IA, "Army Post" Road, I believe. It had a phone number to call. I called, and heard recording that made me realize I had been suckered into an on-going "program" of automatic shipments. I had the woman at my post office mark it "REFUSED" and they sent it back. Then I came home and wrote an email to Wu-Yi Source ([email protected]) to stop sending me the packages.
The email had to go to [email protected], but the return email was from [email protected]. I will wait and see if they refund the $59.95 from this second box. I had no idea I had paid $59.95 for the first one, and if I'd only returned it immediately, I might have been free of this mess.
