I was released at 12:00 pm on the 17th after major surgery on the December15 and was told to walk to the elevator on the 9th floor my room (9034) and ride it down to the first floor with no assistance. When I got to the bottom 2 men in white coats were standing there and I asked them where pick up was because I was exhausted from carrying my small suitcase and a leather coat.
They pointed the way to the front door and I walked outside unassisted to watch the doormen sending my ride away. I yelled and they stopped and he backed up, got out of the car and he assisted me into the car.
I have never ever heard of a patient being treated that way. Always were taken down in a wheelchair.
Not my doctors fault. He has no idea this happend but I intend to call his office Monday morning to complain.
