Signed up for American Community on there individual plan, not an employer plan. Started process in October sending all information they requested, in December, 3 months later they rejected me. The rejection said I had a recent illness with no diagnosis. Since I had not been to the Doctor in about a year there could never have been an illness. When contacting the company they did not return my phone calls. I called an waited for about 20 minutes on hold till they answered. I could not get any information from them about this mystery illness and they and could not help me at all. I would not recommend them to any body, customer service is slow and of no help at all. Companies like American Community are why I now support an national health care system, or at least some oversight to these companies.
