My partner had to have some lab work done that was not a routine lab work. Partner gave them worng insurance info and then sent me a bill right away. I called them and gave them the correct info (happens to be BCBS) they said great we will resubmit. I then got a request from insurance company for mor information. I called them gave insurance company the information they requested. Then I got a denial of the claim. I then called asked the insurance why. I was informed that they do not contract with BCBS for routine test. I then informed them that this was not routine test. The insurance comapany said they submitted the wrong codes then. So I called Qwest back now they say it is not there responsability to do the codes that is the doctors. I call the doctor and they are closed for the day. Ping pong ping pong. I can not belive that we as a civlized country have the laghing stock of health care. We need some serious reform here.
