Was told over the phone that they were in my dental insurance network. Got complete periodontal Evaluation in Jan/07 cost me $66.00 with my insurance. I was told could get my routine cleanings there also cover by my insurance and was schedulle for one June /07. My bill was supposed to be 0 (cero) copayment for routine cleaning. Got a bill in the mail for $104.00 for Periodontal Maintenance; with a hand written note saying that my insurance was HMO and they were not in the Network. I had to pay more for a routine cleaning I could had have free somewhere else than for a Complete periodontal evaluation. Ofcourse when i tried to explained that I only went there because of the information they provided me, I was told they did not remember that conversation and It was my responsability to py for the service they provided. If that is the case, I should only pay for regular routine cleaning.
