So i joined pure fitness 5 months ago and wow were they annoying! Every ten seconds a sales person would try to sell me things i just wanted to get my work out done with! They would interupt me constantly and every time i'd walk in they would swarm me and give me sales pitches for vitamins! The sales manager would call my cell constantly!!! It was QUEER!
Anyways... I tried to cancel and called the tempe office and a stupid girl answered and apparently she was new. She said alright ill take ur name and address and then youre all set! Well 2 months later i have a bill from them so i called to cancel it a second time. This time the "policy changed" and the manager apologized because the girl was "new" and quote "we get new people all the time sorry."
I refused to pay my credit fee because it was there fault! And all they could say was "sorry" the supervisor also admitted fault. This was problem one. Problem two, the guy who signed me up was unqualified, misleading, rude, obnoxious, and hit on me and my friend constantly. He would call my friend late at night and leave messages and when he signed me up he payed for half of my fee out of his own pocket because he needed the business. He didnt explain any of the paper work and told me it was a month to month program however DONT do what i did DONT sign anything because its a two year program!!!
They refuse to pay me back my money after i had to drive down there and process my cancellation!!! The retarded looking blonde girl at the front said that she didnt have the forms and i had to mail in my cancellation. When i called back to verify my cancallation they put me on hold for 10 minutes and hung up! When i asked to speak to the manager she said she was "busy" and was so RUDE!!! All the manager could say was sorry, but they were at fault and refuse to pay me back!!!
I will be reporting them to the attorney generals office for exploitive business practices, and for not processing any of my cancellations. They dont return calls regarding cancellations either i called twice and they didnt call me back, but they called me back about my membership dues... Figures!
These people are deceptive pigs and only out to get your money. They might look friendly and act like obnoxious retards to get your attention but they are simply pigs. They are impossible to deal with and completely irresposible!
I would suggest calling mountain side fitness they are wonderful. But steer clear of Pure Fitness.
Also dont sign up for there personal trainers... Apparently its a huge scam!
