Medical equipment buyer beware! My experience with med-1-online, of golden, co. (www.med1online.com)

On or about 2/14/08 I purchased a Hako Med Pro ElecDT 2000 with Vaso Pulse 2000 from Med-1-Online, Dealing with Brandi (sales person). It took 3-4 weeks for the item to arrive. When it did it would not function properly. Med-1 was reluctant to take the machine back, but after contacting the CEO's secretary, Stephanie (the only helpful person in the whole company) arrangements were made to return the item to be dealt with by the service dept., this took 2 months (Dave, the service tech did not appear to understand the machine or it's proper set up or testing). Again, it required Stephanie to intervene to get the machine returned from 2 months of service only to find it still did not function. It then took another 2 weeks, and long conversations with Dave, by my nurse for him to finally agree that the machine did not function. Brandi then had another machine, a Matrix Pro ElecDT 2 with a Vasopulse 2 which she assured me was the same machine by another label for an additional $500. After some help from Stephanie, it was finally agreed to accept the original machine back and ship the replacement. When the replacement arrived, it was a totally different machine than the original, and did not perform the same functions. After a week of unanswered calls, I shipped the machine back, and requested a refund. Med-1 is refusing a refund. I have placed a disputed charge with my credit card company. Results pending.
