I went into their clinic after listening to an ad on KFI f.M. Radio. They touted to have the new fool proof method of getting rid of excess belly fat and love handles. They said it was painless, and FDA approved. When I arived for my first visit they told me thier would be no down time. Later they changed their policy and wouldn't use one of the treatments they charged me for, until my injections had all been completed.
At that point I didn't want to continue getting anymore injections as I found out on a news report that the junk they were injecting into me was not approved by the FDA. I have knots that were not going away anytime soon and my pain is still present to this day.
But the biggest issue here is that my fat areas never faded. I still look like an apple. I have love handles to spare. I now have to cover my belly with loose clothing. They also claimed that the fat would never return... I never had a chance to see it go away. They changed all their claims after I started to complain. They told me if I stopped eating so much I would not have the fat hanging on. If it never went away and I didn't gain more weight during the procedure then that was pretty stupid to say. I was swollen from the medication they had injected. The treatment was done over one year ago. I still look the same as when I walked in. Big belly.
I complained to the corporate office and the woman I spoke to told me that I still had knots because the medicine was still working. Helloooo. Its not. She told me that part of the medication was FDA approved, but no one never mentioned that to me at the initial consult. Now I have been trying to dispute this charge with my card company and I need paperwork to verify the charge.
The clinic has not answered any of my calls and ignores all the emails. I get a receptionist who says they are always busy or not available. I told her if I keep leaving messages no one returns them. She said there was nothing she could do. I asked her what if I had a medical emergency. She replied that all I could do was leave a message.
Now the card company is giving me the run around, too. They would not credit the whole amount because they need a receipt. Hello, they charged my card. I am so angry and don't know what to do at this point. Any help would be welcome. Oh, they also changed the name of thier company twice. Each time I call they give me a different name. They closed one clinic in Tustin, California and now are scamming people in Newport, California. I can't believe how these people are being allowed to do this. If a doctor used a product that is not FDA approved he would be in jail. But Medasthetica/Lipozap are still in business and injecting non-suspecting clients.
I hope someone who reads my report takes a step to help anyone who encounters the nightmare that I am going through right now. I am in pain and worried about long term health problems. When I went in for the first and subsequent treatments the pain that came on minutes after the injections per each treatment (all 60 of them) started to cause my stomach to go into such pain that I couldn't move. I was in pain for almost a week. After that I still have residual pain. I itched for months. I still itch and can't figure out why.
I would like to warn anyone who would consider doing this not to think of it for one second. I regret it completely. First, you are ripped of physically and then monetarily. I paid them for 11 months. I sure hope someone helps me get my money back.
